Airbnb listing photos in Dubai
Guests choose with their eyes. Here is the shot list, room by room, and how to keep photos true to the home.
The view first
If the home has a sea, skyline or Burj Khalifa view, make it the cover photo, taken from inside so guests see what they will see.
Every bedroom
One wide photo per bedroom, bed made with white linen, curtains open, lights on. Guests count beds from the photos.
Living room and dining
Show the whole space and where people sit and eat. A group checks there is room for everyone.
Kitchen
Clean counters with the main appliances visible: hob, oven, fridge, coffee maker. Monthly guests look closely here.
Bathrooms
Each bathroom, with towels out. Shower or bath clearly shown.
Building and amenities
Pool, gym, lobby and the building outside, taken in daylight. These sell Dubai stays as much as the flat does.
Workspace and balcony
A desk with a chair for working guests, and the balcony if there is one.
Keep it honest
Five photo rules
- Photograph the actual home, not the developer's show flat or another unit.
- Shoot in daylight with lights on and curtains open; avoid heavy filters.
- Keep photos current: re-shoot after any change of furniture.
- Write a caption for each photo saying which room it is.
- Do not hide problems: a mismatch between photos and the home is the fastest route to a poor review.

Questions
Listing photos: questions
Do I need professional photos for Airbnb in Dubai?
They help. The cover photo decides whether a guest clicks, and Dubai listings compete on views and interiors. Many management companies include photography when they set up a home.
How many photos should an Airbnb listing have?
Enough to show every room, the bathrooms, the view and the building amenities, each with a caption. Guests should be able to picture the whole stay.
Can I use the developer's photos of the building?
Use your own photos of your unit. Building exteriors and shared amenities can be shown, but they must be the real building and current.
When should I re-take my listing photos?
After any change of furniture or decor, and whenever reviews mention that the home looked different from the photos.
